Privacy Policy
Effective Date & Last Updated: September 11, 2026
Welcome to HF-Mirror Acceleration Hub (referred to as "the Website", "we", or "us"). We recognize the paramount importance of data privacy for AI developers, researchers, and technology enthusiasts. This Privacy Policy details how technical data is processed, how cookies are utilized, and our standards regarding third-party service providers including Google AdSense.
1. Technical Data Collection & Processing
As a public mirror acceleration utility dedicated to the open-source community, HF-Mirror adheres strictly to the principle of "Data Minimization and Privacy-First." No account registration or login is required to use our services:
- Access & Edge Server Logs: When your client (such as
huggingface-cli, the Pythonhuggingface_hublibrary, Git LFS, or a web browser) issues requests to download weights or repository metadata, global CDN edge nodes and gateway proxies record standard HTTP request telemetry (including visitor IP address, User-Agent header, requested URI, HTTP status code, transferred byte length, and timestamp). These logs are utilized exclusively for DDoS defense, threat detection, and rate-limiting load balancing. - Zero Retention of User Credentials (Zero-Knowledge): When downloading gated repositories requiring permission, the
HF_TOKENconfigured in your environment passes through an end-to-end TLS-encrypted stateless channel directly to official Hugging Face authentication endpoints. HF-Mirror never logs, retains, inspects, or analyzes your tokens, API keys, or personal account credentials.
2. Cookies & Local Storage Technologies
Cookies are small data files placed on your browser or device. This website and third-party partners may use cookies and web storage for essential functionality:
- Functional Preferences: Storing code tab selections (e.g., active CLI / Python / Git tabs) and dark mode interface states.
- Security & Edge Integrity: CDN edge providers may set session integrity cookies to distinguish legitimate developers from malicious botnets.
3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Policy
To offset substantial cross-border edge bandwidth and infrastructure costs, this website may display advertising managed by third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. In compliance with Google's policies, please note:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites across the Internet.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
- User Opt-Out Rights: Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
4. Analytics & Privacy Safeguards
We implement privacy-centric telemetry systems (self-hosted Umami analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics). We never perform cross-site tracking, construct behavioural fingerprints, or monetize user data. All collected metrics represent aggregate Page Views (PV), Unique Visitors (UV), broad geographical distribution, and edge delivery latency.
5. GDPR / CCPA Compliance
We respect the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and related statutory privacy protections regarding information rights, data access, and objection. We do not harvest Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as legal names or personal telephone numbers. For specific inquiries, please contact us.
6. Policy Updates & Contact
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect service updates or regulatory developments. The current version will always remain accessible on this page. For any questions, please contact:
